Payment Policy

Read the arrangements for your desert experience. Ask our team to confirm the terms applicable to your selected tour.

1. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (AED) — Paid to the driver or at the desert camp on arrival
  • Bank Transfer — Details provided upon request at booking
  • Credit / Debit Card — Visa and Mastercard accepted at camp (subject to availability)
  • Online Payment Link — Secure payment links sent via WhatsApp for advance payment

All prices are quoted and charged in UAE Dirhams (AED). For international guests, card payments may incur a foreign transaction fee charged by your bank — this is outside our control.

2. When to Pay

For most standard bookings, payment is collected on the day of the tour — either upon pickup or at the camp. No advance payment is required to confirm a standard booking.

The following bookings require advance payment or a deposit:

  • Group bookings (10+ guests): 20–30% deposit required at confirmation
  • Luxury private safari: Full payment required 48 hours before the tour
  • Overnight safari: 50% deposit required at confirmation
  • Custom & corporate events: Payment terms agreed individually

3. Pricing

All prices listed on our website are per person unless otherwise stated. Child prices apply to children aged 3–11 years. Children under 3 travel free on safari experiences (restrictions apply for adventure activities).

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured for your reservation.

4. Invoices & Receipts

A receipt or invoice can be provided upon request for all bookings. Please inform us at the time of booking if you require an official tax invoice (VAT invoice). VAT at 5% applies to all services in accordance with UAE Federal Law.

5. Currency

All transactions are conducted in UAE Dirhams (AED). While we may quote approximate prices in USD or GBP as a reference, the AED amount is the binding price. Exchange rates fluctuate and any currency conversion is the responsibility of the guest.

6. Disputed Payments

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us within 7 days of your tour date. We will review and resolve any payment disputes fairly and promptly. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may delay resolution.

7. Deposit Forfeiture

Deposits paid for group or luxury bookings are non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 48 hours of the tour, unless the cancellation is initiated by Maliha Desert Safari Dubai due to weather or operational reasons. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
